Mumford and Sons have had to postposed their Thursday night concert here at Mardi Gras World due to the illness of bassist Ted Dwane, who was rushed to an emergency surgery for a blood clot on his brain. Ted is expected to full recover and the show will be rescheduled to a later date. Previously purchased tickets will still be honored for the new date but refunds are available from the place of purchase.  

Metallica have a lot going on with the upcoming release of their 3d movie in September, and we won't be getting any new music from them in a while. Guitarist, Kirk Hammett, says it's most likely they won't have anything coming out until 2015.
